Community Park

Our largest park with a permanent stage for various festivals to enjoy in the grassy area. Conveniently, the park includes a pavilion, playground, baseball field, fishing pond, walking trail, and an 18 hole disc golf course.

On Highway 348 (5th Street)
Town Park is a lovely park with many shade trees, picnic tables, playground equipment and a small pavilion with BBQ grill. This park is available for rent for parties, events or simple gatherings.

Located on the corner of Highway 50 business loop and Highway 348 (5th Street)
Lion's Park originally was the home of the Olathe Pirate football team. It was later given to the Town of Olathe and developed into baseball/softball fields, and maintained by the Lion's Club. 

Equipment at Fitness Park

On Hersum Street behind north side of Main Street
Formally Sugar Beet Park, with the help of the Colorado Health Foundation and their partners we refurbished the softball field into a fitness park. Encouraging exercise & athletic-challenges with seven workout stations, a 1/6th of a mile walking path, horse shoe pits, half-court basketball court and our newest addition, an American Ninja style adventure course. Fitness park invites an afternoon of exploration with easy vehicular access and pedestrian access.

Onion Park

On the corner of Highway 50 business loop and 1st Street
In the center of a neighborhood, a small park with mature trees and a grassy area for kids to play while preserving the unique landscape. A couple of benches sit in an open space fostering a unique sense of community.

Shaded benches at Pocket Park

A small downtown nestles Pocket Park with benches and tables to drink coffee, eat lunch or just listen to the relaxing sound of the water trickling through the water feature. Pocket Park is an inviting environment for surrounding community members.
