Town of Olathe Parks Department

The Olathe Parks Department has a staff of 1 full time and 2 seasonal employees and is responsible for 22 acres of open space, 14 acres of irrigated turf grass in 8 parks. Included in the 8 parks are:
  • 1 fishing & 1 irrigation pond (with handicap access)
  •  Wetlands
  • 3 playgrounds
  • Decorative gardens
  • 5 baseball/softball fields
  • A multipurpose sports field used for soccer, football, festivals
  • Walking trails
  • 60’x40’ concrete stage (with electricity)
  • Covered pavilion (with electricity)
  • Remote control car track
  • 18 hole disc golf course
